For martial arts gym owners
Keep Your Gym Listing Accurate
OpenMatIndex helps people find martial arts gyms and training locations. If you operate a gym, you can help visitors find the right address, contact information, and training options for your school.
Basic directory listings and requests to correct them are free.
Already listed?
Search the gym directory for your business. If you find an outdated address, old phone number, incorrect discipline, or other mistake, send a claim or correction request. We review ownership requests before changing a profile and may ask for evidence that you represent the gym.
Not listed yet?
Use the gym submission form. You can provide the gym name, city, state, website, disciplines, address, contact details, and information relevant to new students. Submissions are sent for review; filling out the form does not automatically publish a new listing.
What helps create a useful listing?
- Your current business name, physical location, and official website.
- A reliable public phone number or business email address.
- The martial arts or combat sports actually taught at your location.
- Where visitors can find class schedules, introductory classes, and drop-in policies.
- Any current information a beginner would want to know before visiting.
Verification matters. We are actively cleaning up older imported records. A gym-owner submission helps, but details still need to be reviewed before we treat them as confirmed.
